They quickly realized that their shared vision for creating a better community aligned perfectly, and they decided to join forces.
Together, they began organizing community events, such as food drives, clothing swaps, and resource fairs. They worked tirelessly to ensure that these events were accessible to everyone in the community, regardless of their socioeconomic status.
Their efforts soon gained traction, and they were able are currently looking to secure funding to operate the Willand Warming Center for the 2023-24 Winter Season. This center provided a safe and welcoming space for over 300 unhoused to come together, build relationships, and access resources they may not have had otherwise.
